Native Cinema Showcase
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, in association with the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts, present the 18th annual Native Cinema Showcase during the Santa Fe Indian Market, featuring dozens of films from many of today’s most celebrated Native American filmmakers. Free. New Mexico History Museum Auditorium, and Saturday Night at the Santa Fe Railyard Park.

Seating is limited No food or beverages allowed in the NMHM Auditorium.

There will be a regular meeting of the board of the San Augustin Water Coalition on Tuesday, August 14th, at 6 p.m. at the Datil Baptist Church.
Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday between Aug. 16 and Oct. 6, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. DESCRIPTION: Explore the ruins of Giusewa Pueblo with archaeologists from New Mexico Historic Sites and Native American tribal members from Jemez Pueblo. Watch as they sift through the earth finding artifacts and features more than 500 years old. Ask questions and learn what makes Jemez Historic Site such a remarkable place.
Ranger led tours of the archaeological excavation and the historic site will occur at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily, self-guided tours are available at any time.
The Friends will be having their monthly book sale from 10am-2pm in the Friends Book Room, NW corner of Finley Gym.hard bound books $1 and soft bound books 50 cents. Just in time for the new school year!
